#1. LG Washer uE/UE Code Or LG Washer uE/UE error code

Problem: The uE/UE code indicates that the washer is attempting to balance the load, which may be the result of the unit not being leveled correctly or the load itself. This code can be easily resolved without the need of a technician.
When the uE/UE displays on the screen, the unit will fill with water in order to agitate and separate the items, then drain and try to spin again. After 3 attempts to balance, the uE will change to UE, meaning the unit was unable to rebalance the load and requires assistance.

Solution: To determine if the unit is operating correctly, we suggest that you perform a RINSE AND SPIN cycle with nothing in the drum as shown in the troubleshooting steps below

#2. LG Washer OE code

Problem: The ‘OE’ error essentially means the water is not draining from the washing machine.
As your washing machine cannot drain if the filter of drain pump is clogged, re gular cleaning is necessary in order to avoid laundry residue being accumulated inside the filter. It is likely the cause is a kinked or clogged drain hose or a clogged pump filter.

Solution: Clean Drain Filter and Run the Tub Clean Program

#3. LG Washer LE code

Problem: The LE error code indicates that the motor cannot start: it buzzes and does not spin the drum. Reasons: failure of the control board, the door not slammed to the end, stuck object, damage to the tacho generator sensors, malfunction of the latch, burnout of the motor winding.

Solution: Reset Your Washer, Check the Rotor and Check the Rotor Position Sensor

Problem: CL is not an error code, it indicates the child lock feature is activate.

Solution: To activate or Deactivate child lock, Press and hold the child lock button for 3 seconds.

Problem: A dE error code means that the washer was not able to lock the drawer. This might be as result of:

Problem: A dL error indicates that the door latch switch is not functioning properly. There are possible causes that could lead to the display of this code, such as: An item could be caught inside the door.

Solution: Remove items>> Unplug the unit for 10 seconds>> Plug unit back in , and try to start cycle again.

Problem: If the washing machine detects too many suds, it displays this error code and adds a suds reducing cycle. This adds about 2 hours to the cycle time. If too many suds are detected during spinning, the washing machine stops to help prevent leaking.

Solution: Do not add more than the manufacturer’s recommended amount of detergent. Reduce the amount of detergent used until there is no more sudsing.

Problem: The PE error code indicates that the water level sensor is malfunctional.

Solution: Unplug the washer for 10 seconds. Plug the washer back in, and restart the cycle again. If the PE error code persists, the unit will require a repair service.

Problem: The AE error is indicative that there is a leak somewhere in the washer and it has triggered the flood protection device found at the bottom of the machine.

Solution: Try to find out if there is indeed a leak.

  1. Try tilting it forward or backward and find out if water will run out.

Problem: The EE error code on your LG washing machine means there is an EEPROM error on main control board. The EEPROM on the LG washing machine control board has become unstable or technically “corrupt”. EEPROM stands for “Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory

Solution: Unplug the washer from power for 10 minutes to attempt to CLEAR THE CORRUPTED MEMORY on the main control board. f the EE error code persists, the unit will require a repair service.
