The story was carried by an online publication site which claimed that the CJ was taken ill to Kenyatta National Hospital for dialysis.
“Martha Koome was taken ill on Tuesday evening. She was rushed to the KNH, where she is admitted in the private wing. Doctors haven’t talked yet,” the story claimed.
But in a post on Twitter, the Judiciary flagged the story as fake.

In a tweet on Thursday, January 19, 2023, the Judiciary shared a screenshot of the story about Koome’s hospitalization and warned that it was fake news.
