Crews continue the search Friday for a young boater, who is missing after a small Jon boat sank in the Little River area Thursday evening. The missing boater was identified by family and friends on social media posts as 23-year-old Tyler Doyle, who was last seen Thursday wearing a camo jacket and khaki pants while duck hunting on a 16-foot john boat, according to the U.S. Coast Guard.

The family and community are rallying together Friday to search for a young man who went missing after a boating distress call Thursday night. But, no clue was found in disappearance of him.
The family of Tyler Doyle is at the Johnny Causey Boat Landing in the North Myrtle Beach area searching for him in hopes of a safe return.
Tyler’s wife, Lakelyn Doyle, said in a Facebook post:
“Oh tyler. My love. My bestfriend. My everything. PLEASE just come home. I miss you so much. My heart is shattered. Tyler is strong. Tyler is smart. He’s out there I know he is. PLEASE PRAY SO HARD. Paisley grace needs you.”

As I bake a cake for my son’s birthday this morning, I am overwhelmed that at the same time this mom is searching for her son-in-law, about the same age as my son.
I don’t know Tyler but he is my cousin’s nephew. Distress call yesterday at Myrtle Beach, his boat found but not him. He has a lovely wife and is expecting a baby girl.

Tyler Doyle Wife & Community Prays for Missing Duck Hunter
According to several social media posts, the couple is expecting a baby girl.
As the search began Friday morning, she posted pictures and video and said, “I know your out there.”
The SC Dept. of Natural Resources dive team is on the scene to assist in the search.
The Coast Guard conducted a parallel search five nautical miles offshore, according to one spokesperson Jorge Rivera.
Horry County Fire Rescue responded to the initial watercraft distress call just before 5 p.m. Thursday.
The North Myrtle Beach Rescue Squad said one person was rescued from the north jetties, but the search continues Friday morning for the second occupant of the boat.

As of 7:21 p.m. Friday evening, the U.S. Coast Guard officially suspended the active search for Doyle.
In a tweet, Lt. Emily M. Trudeau, Sector Charleston PAO with the USCG released a statement saying, “We offer our deepest sympathies to the family at this difficult time.”
By Friday morning, a Venmo account was established, with the money going to delivering biscuits and other supplies for people gathered at the search site. Within a hour, more than $800 was donated.
Many who learned of Doyle’s disappearance said they were moved to pray for the young family.
